The Epic of Gilgamesh

While not the best thing in the world, the Epic of Gilgamesh is very enjoyable. One of the only things I liked reading in my English class. 

There’s heavy homo-romantic subtext, so if you enjoy analyzing that in older literature, it’s there.

This story is the epitome of fuck around and find out. 

The language is a bit confusing, and it’s in poetry format. And because it’s the oldest written story in the world small parts are missing. But if you can manage to get past that, it’s highly entertaining, and actually quite humorous!
