Difficult to read, but still excellent, novel. For me, the deserved winner of the German Book Prize 2021. Antje Rávik Strubel clearly shows the ugly sides of human society and deliberately puts her finger in the wound, so that one inevitably comes to terms with the topics of sexual violence and the still existing power gap between Western and Eastern Europe .
