Not Your Ex's Hexes

Fun, sexy read about a witch figuring out her path in life and the sexy demon shifter veterinarian she bangs along the way.

*disclaimer: I received this book as an ARC by Netgalley. This opinion is my own and it is honest**

I gave this book a 4.5! I enjoyed the tropes (one night stand is one of my favourites) & I enjoyed the characters. Perfect to end October with a cozy read.

This is a fun second book to the series. Although they could be standalones I definitely recommend having read the first as this takes over Rose’s story and a lot of her history is established in Not the Witch you Wed, and this book definitely has some set up for the next sister.

Rose is from one of the most powerful witch families and is learning her place in the world and Damian is hot, demon, veterinarian, so, yes please. The story has some parts that were a little slow for me and I think added to be comedic but kinda fell short for me.

The relationship between the two of them has a good development pace and I enjoy the two of them together. This book is full of Buffy references, banter and more of this fun supernatural/ human world. I love the grandma, Edie.

Overall, it’s a nice light supernatural romance with some steam and fun friends/ family.

ARC provided by NetGalley, review in my own honest words.
