"πππ'ππ ππππππ π ππ ππππππ, ππππππ π«ππ. π«ππ π'π πππ ππππ?" So we don't get a definite HEA... or an epilogue? That's plain cruelty (β₯οΉβ₯) This book turned out to be something different in terms of the setting and plotline. With a motorcycle gang member MMC and a soft and on-the-verge-of-breaking FMC, this story absolutely did not contain anything other books with the similiar basic plotline have. We meet Katie and Jex, two people who couldn't be more opposite, but gravitated towards each other. The bond was formed at first glance but wasn't acknowledged until later. I like how Katie's past was properly explained along with her suffocating marriage. The constant pull between Katie and Jex was great, along with the chemistry and slow burn. π° ππππ ππππ. πΊππ ππππ ππππ ππ. The part where we see who Dane is from Katie's past literally made me say "Oh shit" out loud! Also, the eye ball scene is pretty vividly printed in my head (;ΕοΉΕ) I loved the way Jex refused Katie for the tattoo, I mean howww?!! How could you say no but in such a sweet and romantic way and not acknowledge it yourself, damnn. While the book was attention grabbing, I felt like there were a few things not fully explained... like:- 1) Why did Katie not leave sooner? I understand her being optimistic and hoping for a change but wasn't the line crossed too many times? 2) Jex's fear of riding a motorcycle. A few details are mentioned but I I wasn't thoroughly convinced. 3) Why did Jex not help Remy earlier? Apart from this, I enjoyed reading this novel and finished it in one sitting!
