Wicked Little Sins The Four Nightmares of Castle Pointe #1
Reviews

This was a great book and kept me interested throughout! It was scary and yes, all the reviews are correct you are at the edge of your seat in some parts and I had nightmares after reading lol. That's how you know it's a good book. I enjoyed all the elements and the romance was steamy as well. I don't know what else to say other than if you are into ghost stories, possession, creepy-ass towns and hot alphaholes read this book :)

Stars: 4.5 Spice: 3 MF | Book 1 in series | E2L, Academy, Paranormal | Triggers/Content: drug use, physical and sexual abuse I was craving some dark and spooky vibes, and this book delivered! Vera’s mother remarries and she’s forced to leave her life behind to move to Castle Pointe, where she meets her new stepbrother Malik. Vera learns pretty quickly that her new town is evil, and trying to convince her mother something is wrong is absolutely futile. Once you come to Castle Pointe, you don't leave. The hatred between Vera and Malik is instantaneous. This is a true enemies-to-lovers situation. In fact I’m not sure they weren’t still enemies, at least on some level, by the end of the book. That, combined with all the wild and sinister things taking place, had me on the edge of my seat the whole time I was reading this. I loved that! If you’re looking for something spooky, I highly recommend you read this book.

“Honestly, we’re terrible for each other. But we’re dangerously perfect at the same time. We’re a toxic mix, and it’s fucking phenomenal.” I can count on one hand how many books I’ve read that are even remotely PNR/fantasy, it’s not my jam. That’s being said I gave this book a chance because stepbrother? Yeah sign me up! And I fell in love with this authors writing in a different series. I found myself enjoying this book a lot more than I anticipated! I saw in another review someone used the worse sinister and I think that is the perfect word for Malik. He does not get soft for Vera. He is unapologetically a dark cruel person. Vera, I see a lot of people calling her bratty and whiny, but when you discover what pain she has inside her every single day topped off with an absentee mother, I can’t say that maybe people would’ve reacted differently in her situation. Malik and Vera’s relationship is probably the most toxic I’ve read in a while and I absolutely loved it. They thrive in their hate and darkness.

I LOVED THIS BOOK SO MUCH I LITERALLY CANT GAHHH😭
