Sherlock The Essential Arthur Conan Doyle Adventures
Reviews

When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth. • • • Sherlock is a collection of three novels and numerous short stories about the famed detective, all in the same form as they were when Sir Arthur Conan Doyle wrote them over a century ago. While I won’t claim to adore every story - some were boring and some were obvious - and I can’t say that the style of writing is my favorite - the author is from the 1800s, after all - I still can confidently say that I’m glad to have read them and they’ve brought me entertainment and new understanding. The storytelling script is done masterfully, and my favorite of the stories might be the classic The Hound of the Baskervilles. For anybody unsure of where to start with Mr Sherlock Holmes and Dr John Watson, this is a fantastic place to begin.
