The Greek Interpreter - a Sherlock Holmes Short Story

This story felt more like an outline then an actual story. Following the trend of Sherlock Holmes stories I’ve read so far, there’s a lot of info-dumping and all tell and no show. It’s unfortunate because this story has so much potential, just needs a little love. 

Especially the last third felt rushed which was a shame as this is where the action was concentrated, but the entire build-up to said action was missing and thus I didn’t feel anything of the sudden rush to save two lives. It was also a pity that the story wasn’t really resolved except for some vague hints as of the fate of the culprits which made this read a little unsatisfying. All in all, not really one I’d recommend (though a good re-imagining I would)
