A beautiful fictional recount of a tumultuous relationship, as told by a jaded uncle to his overly curious niece. The story evolves over many different eras and yet the story develops quite well and smoothly despite the complexity of each setting and the characters' situations. I really love how I could relate with both Kit and Natt ... this is a great book. Looking forward to seeing more from Ash!
