It was an interesting read but not in the greatest way at times. Also, if I had to read Atlas say the words “Sweet Thing” ONE. MORE. TIME. I was seriously going to lose it. This didn’t reach DNF bcuz it was a cute story so I just simply pushed through. But there were moments I really contemplated not finishing. This wasn’t a terrible read. And I wouldn’t deter anyone from taking a shot and reading it for themselves. It just didn’t hit all the right notes for me to fully enjoy it.

THIS WAS SO CUTE. Monster romance, the MMC has body dysmorphia and struggles with self image, the full figured FMC helps him love himself. All while he is obsessed with her and her him, and they are quite *steamy*. This was a quick, spicy, (i say it again) cute read!

Such a cute steamy cozy read. Do not expect any conflict in this short little book. I kept expecting secondary characters to intervene in a negative way, but it was just a simple steamy cozy read. I liked some of the role reversals the characters had such as Atlas having an ex that made his confidence level diminish, and Tegan being a really confident curvy girl who loves her body. I usually read about fmc's who need to be protected from their crazy ex by the mmc, but this book explores the opposite. Of course with such a short book I usually feel like I need more, and I felt that way here. Additionally, the characters move WAYYYY TOOO FASSSTTTT. Immediate pet names (gag) and insta-love/insta-lust. Not to mention an unrealistic squirt scene. This book mainly takes place in the span of a week besides the epilogue and ends in happily ever after within that time span. I am all for falling in love quickly (when you know you know), but even still the relationship felt off for me. I also felt like there were very little baking/bakery elements other than to set up the plot (I would have loved more). I will say it leans a little more steamy than cozy. However, I did enjoy this little read. It's so short and sweet that I would recommend it to most romance readers.

Muscles & Monsters is a cute story, but there's not much else to say about it. I struggled a lot through 70% of the book. Their conversational skills felt like two middle graders talking; they definitely didn't feel like they were adults.

Other than that, if you're searching for something quick, a little steamy with some nice dirty-talk, insta-lust and insta-love, and just an overall feel-good story, then this book is for you.

This book is good at being exactly what it is.

This was an amazing erotic romance novella. The spice was 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 out of 5. I adored Atlas! And I love how Tegan expressed how she truly envisioned him as. I felt instantly apart of this world and I can’t wait for it to continue!
