Three months after the destruction of the Red Shield headquarters, Kai has joined the ranks of the remaining members to hunt down the rampant outbreak of Chiropteras, in the hopes of finding Saya. He soon gets his wish, but the Saya who shows up appears to be cold, unfeeling, and a shadow of her former self.
