Had no idea Armin is a boy. This is a continuing struggle of mine with Anime characters. The plot was fascinating as always, with every battle more mysteries are revealed on the Titans.

I liked it... but don't think it deserves 3 stars... but meh.. whatever.. I'm going to read the next volume for sure, I guess that's why the 3 stars. 

Story is still building up, action scenes all over the place (duh, manga) and well.. the artwork, man... THE ARTWORK.. the artwork sucks so much that I'd rather read Howard Chaykin's comics or whatever his last name is spelled out. The dude who draws everyone the same with huge jaws like they're all straight out of Godfather being hit with a shovel in the face and shit.

Anyway, I'd recommend this only if you're curious as to what's going to happen like me, other than that... I wouldn't read this. Garbage art. Story ok. 

Yeah you see 2 stars now because I changed my mind mid-review.

I have no idea what it is about this series but I just can't put it down once I've started. Just when I think I have everything figured out and I start predicting what will happen next, a giant unexpected twist is thrown. 

 ** spoilers ahead ** 

Eren is my favorite character, especially with his relationship to Mitsaka, and I was DEVESTATED by his death ("death"?), but completely mind blown by his reappearance. Some part of my was desperately hoping that he'd show up again (I thought they were going to show him running around inside of the Titan, however goofy that sounds to me now) but I'm so so so excited to see where everything goes from here!!

wow! so this volume was awesome. i really loved getting to see a little backstory on mikasa, so far, her and eren are my fav characters obviously! i like how they’re two of the highest ranked. also that ending, um what?? i’m definitely planning to binge this series! it’s so gruesome at times but at least it’s in black and white so it doesn’t seem too gross lol
