Aurora's End
Reviews

Felt like the longest, mostly war which is not the part I like but other small parts I loved so much make up for it. Ending had me crying. Need some smutty fanfic of my fave ship.

I enjoyed the first book the most and the second one was still enjoyable, but THIS! felt like an anime filler episode. There was just so much blah blah in it and the dialogue didn't interest me either. Characters and the conversations between then felt incredibly forced funny and cheesy. What a bummer...

The amount of times this book tried to get me to cry is just too many but God was it good

3.5/5 stars Damn this book... it was slightly emotional i admit but the first half was dragging quite a bit, but I think that's the intent for each separate storyline but I love how all of them are connected in a way that makes sense. Despite it all, I kinda like the journey our characters go through and how they're all connected as a family at the end. I'm just still not on board with the whole mating thing its so weird.

Unfortunately this was a letdown for me. After loving book 1 and 2 in this series, I had high hopes for the finale. But the ending just let me down. I still loved all of the characters, and felt for their journeys. But the ending just wasn't it for me. I loved how everything came together, but the final battle was quite underwhelming...it felt idk if cheesy is the right word, but all fit just too perfectly for me.

“I am yours forever. When the fire of the last sun fails my love for you will still burn” I cannot describe what I’m feeling right now (probably because I’m choking on my tears) but this book is simply epic. The perfect ending for an amazing trilogy. All the twists and turns that I did not see it coming! I was blown away by how much I enjoyed this book.

The best book of the serie!

Perfection

4,5-5⭐

"I will see you in the stars." Well, in the words of Auri, holy cake! This was my favorite of the series - hands down, no question. Time loops, time travel, mindflayers, telekinetic powers, psychic energy... gimme, gimme, GIMME! All of my favorite things. The whole series is easy reading wrapped up in a complex, dynamic tale with the best squad of misfits and found family. Can we just get more? Squad 312 forever.

This book was an incredible end to the series The Aurora Cycle. I adored every single character and with them, I laughed, I joked, I ventured, I wondered, I loved, and I sobbed. If you have yet to read this, I highly encourage you to, but I also wish you good luck.

I definetely liked this better than the second!

A good conclusion if a bit all over the place.

The perfect end to a perfect series. Made me laugh out loud and sob quietly in a corner. I'm going to miss the crazy adventures of Squad 312 and I hope Kristoff and Kaufman collaborate again soon!

I dont really know how to put how I feel about this series and this last book in particular into words.. Other than to say that I LOVED IT!! I flew through Aurora's End furiously flipping pages until I was sure of how of how it was going to end.. I am so going to miss squad 312, but Im definitely going to be reading this again.. soon.. I want to really savor it the second time around.. This time after that cliffhanger from the second book.. I desperately needed to know what was happening next.. I found this to be fast paced and extremly action packed. Enemies become allies, become friends of a sort.. Things are happening on so many different levels at different moments that everything coming together the way it did was amazing!.This has become one of my favorite series, and I can't wait for my physical copy to come and finish my collection.. I will forever read everythign that Kaufman and Kristoff write together.

What an epic conclusion to a phenomenal series. It's rare that I read series anymore, because even if I really enjoyed the book, the long wait for the sequels can really tarnish my reading momentum (and eventually interest). But the Aurora Cycle.. this series, at least for me, is different. The first book was gripping, the second intense, and the third is bold and soft and sweet all at the same time. I haven't read a series with a great ending in a really long time. What an amazing way to end the Aurora Cycle. The moments that led to that ending were so well written. You go through so much with the characters right from the very beginning, and you go through even more with them in this final instalment. I've grown to love them all so much more. Although there were lots of great elements to the book, there was something in particular (that I cannot mention for spoiler issues) that happened within this book that did not make me love the book as much as the previous books. Let's just say it really tampered with the pacing of the story, which is a huge contrast to the previous two books because I absolutely flew through them. Aurora's End was much slower in comparison, which made me lose interest in the plot pretty quickly. The overarching plot line was also a little frustrating, but it made for a great ending, so I honestly can't really complain much about it. Another thing that made me dock a star off is the overly excessive banter and character monologues. There was a bit too much unnecessary sass, which made it cringeworthy. I normally love the banters and quick-witted comments from the characters, and I'm honestly still such a huge fan of the duo's witty writing, but this time it was just a little too much. Overall though, Kaufman and Kristoff never fail to deliver a story that packs a punch. There were so many moments where I laugh-cried because it was both hilarious and touching at the same time. I love it. I love when books make me feel really mixed emotions (in a good way). I already miss squad 312 so, so much. I can't say much else apart from the fact that this is a truly memorable series that I would wholeheartedly recommend to everyone, whether you're a sci-fi/YA fan or not. Thank you to Allen & Unwin for sending me a free copy in exchange for an honest review! :)

A book captures a story within its pages. Not like a specimen pinned out lifelessly for display, but vivid and alive. A whole world lies within the cover, a life waiting to be lived by each new reader.
