While feeding the actors in her grandmother's production of Hamlet, Charlotte Bessette, the owner of The Cheese Shop, finds her world melting when a container of her signature ice cream is used as a murder weapon. (mystery & detective).

To Brie Or Not to Brie

Murder, revenge, and secrets: Shakespeare has arrived in Providence, Ohio... Charlotte Bessette—owner of Fromagerie Bessette, known by locals as The Cheese Shop—has a lot on her plate: setting a date with her fiancé, feeding the actors in her grandmother’s production of Hamlet, and planning the menu for her best friend and cousin’s upcoming wedding. At least her new creation—sinfully delicious Brie blueberry ice cream—has turned out perfectly. Just days before the wedding, a stranger turns up dead in the Igloo Ice Cream Parlor's freezer, his head bashed with a container of Charlotte's signature ice cream. But this stranger turns out to be more than he seems, and his death threatens to unravel all that Charlotte has worked for. She has no choice but to add one more thing to her to-do list: find the killer before the villain destroys all that she loves.

Sarah Sammis

This book centers on spousal abuse and wives running for their lives. Her friend and her child are in danger, with ties to the dead man. Fearing for her friend's life as well as the reputation as the accused, Charlotte does a lot of risky, stupid things — like riffling through a suspects car in plain view.

To Brie or Not to Brie

This is the fourth book in a great cozy mystery series....one of my favorites. Charlotte owns a cheese shop and has a knack for solving murders in her small town. This book is no exception and Charlotte is on the case shortly after the latest murder. Characters are great in this series....both two legged (Charlotte, her cousin Matthew, his twin daughters, Charlotte's mystery-show loving assistant Rebecca) and four legged (Ragdoll cat Rags and Briard dog Rocket). Along with characters, the small town setting, with a bunch of great shops, is perfect for a cozy mystery series. There were twists and turns enough to keep readers guessing about the murderer's identity. I enjoyed it.
