I, Medusa

Very powerfully written with excellent prose. 

TW of sexual assault, though as a story about Medusa and involving the Greek gods one might have assumed as much. 

I did enjoy this book, though as someone with a complicated relationship with rage and vindication, I can’t say that I related a great deal to the heroine and it left me with mixed feelings. At times I learned and grew from/with her, and at times I was reminded that she absolutely was 17 and her choices drove me crazy. I am much more like her dearest friend in the book than her, though it’s not a bad or good thing. Each have their own path to walk and I chose my own much as Medusa chose hers. 

All this to say, I hate the Greek gods but enjoyed the read. ❤️
