As a fan of Gay's previous works, my enjoyment of this collection of short was no surprise. I definitly found myself gravitating more towards certain stories and rushing through others to get to the next. Overall, the stories we strong, well-written, and gripping. I'd like to see any one of them developed into a full length novel.
