I really enjoyed B.J. Novak's sense of humor. It's kind of dark, quirky, weird - which is also why I like The Office and The Mindy Project so much. I listened to the audiobook version and very much enjoyed the performances by BJ, Rainn Wilson, Mindy Kaling, Lena Dunham and Jena Fischer. I will probably be listening to this again!

In general, I'm not a big fan of short stories. However, I am a big fan of BJ Novak and thought I would give this book a try. I was glad I did. The book is comprised of mostly 3-5 page stories with some 1 page stories, and a few 20 page stories thrown in there. Most of the stories are tongue in cheek and offer a humorous criticism to our modern world. The stories are easy to read and there were multiple times I found my self laughing at them.

I wanted to love this book, but the more I read it the more I couldn't relate at all to it. I thumbed through and read a few of the stories but in the end closed it up. DNF.
