4,5 stars ⭐️ “I loved you even when I hated you. And that’s how I knew I didn’t hate you at all.” Charleigh Rose was a pleasant surprise, I really didn't expect to enjoy Bad Habit this much but I was completely hooked from the beginning, I started this before going to bed and I stayed awake just to finish it. Briar and Asher won me over quickly and swiftly, their story was well done and never got dull. friends to enemies to lovers? check check check. You can find me reading the other two books soon, I realy liked the way Charleigh writes.

This was just ok. I love age gap don’t get me wrong but this just felt weird to me. It kept me entertained for the most part but I was a little disappointed. But DARE! Oh I know I’m going to love him in the next book.

this entire book made me so uncomfortable. in the prologue when they first kiss briar is 14 and asher is 17 which is so weird to me idc that he technically wasn’t an adult yet. and the rest of the book she’s 17 and he’s 20 like ? how hard is it to just up the mc’s age a little ? and even if the age wasn’t an issue, the characters were just so unlikeable. this was literally the worst experience of my entire life.

3,5 ⭐️ 3-4 🌶 I enjoyed reading this book, it was pretty quick and easy to read. The plot was fine, the romance was cute, the spice was good and i loved the characters. Would I read it again? Probably not. If there is another book about Adrian please direct me that way because I’m obsessed with him.

4/5 Loved It My favorite trope Best Friend little sister with a enemies to lover, forbidden romance. Right in the prologue I could feel their chemistry. Loved Briar and Asher and could not swipe my kindle fast enough to see how their story ends. The angst and fun banter was so good. Briar sees the good in everybody and she was perfect for Asher who does not let anybody in.

⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 "For once in my goddamn life, I'm trying to be the good guy, and you're not making it easy." "I like you better when you're bad." The book started a little weird for me, if I'm honest...but once I got passed the age gap that wasn't really an age gap, I loved it. Asher is Briars brothers best friend. Asher has blamed Briar for one of the biggest issues he faced and when he came back after 3 years of being gone, he swore he wouldn't go near Briar again. In his mind, she had betrayed him. Unfortunately that doesn't work well for him considering Briar is all grown up and looks 🔥 now. And thus began their relationship of sneaking around. The truth about why Asher was sent away comes out, and sets of a chain of very unfortunate events which has Asher running away AGAIN. I loved seeing Asher accept his past and learn from it vs letting it control his behaviours. His character grew a lot. Overall I'm very happy with this read, and if you haven't read it - give it a shot.

is this the best na book ever written? no. was i still trash for it? yep. this book possibly has all the cliche na tropes you can ever think of paired up with the most infuriating case of miscommunication (and all the drama and conflict that it creates) but i can't deny the fact that this was addicting. what can i say, i'm trash for books like this.

My first Charleigh Rose book. The first tike I read her words and experience her writing. It was perfect. It was just, flawless. This story transported me. It was full of angst and pulled me right in within the first pages. I was quite literally hooked. I think it is also important to note that I was in a reading slump. I hadn’t been able to pick up anything to read for a week. Nothing appealed to me. Nothing could keep me interested. Also important to note that I’m a serial reader. I rarely go a day without reading. So I picked up a new to me author I had admired from afar for awhile now. Best. Decision. Ever. This book will take you on an emotional ride. One that will make you want to strangle the characters to make them see the situation from the omnipresent viewpoint we, the readers, have. That’s reader investment right there. I loved how complex and conflicted Asher was as a character. He is out broken bad boy in this story. His past pains our heart and so does his present... His relationship with his father was honestly one of my favourite aspects of the book. It’s human, it’s raw, and it’s far from perfect. So now that my Charleigh Rose cherry is popped, I realize how much I’ve been missing out and I better get on and read the rest of her books!
