Why why why?? why is this book rating so low??? It was so cute and I love the main characters. The book has one of my favorite tropes in mm romances- gay guy falling in love with his best friend and pinning for him for years.

Liam and Teddy were true soulmates and their story was pretty entertaining. Teddy’s name was actually fitting because he had the biggest heart despite what he went through in his life and was the cutest human being. Liam for people around was grumpy with his tattoos and "i don’t give a fuck" attitude, but for Liam? I was blushing and melting when he was all possessive and was calling him his Angel.

The ending was actually really freaking good and refreshing, I’m kinda exhausted with all these epilogues where the main characters are suddenly happy, rich, with kids, big house, great careers and they have their whole life figured it out. Don’t get me wrong Liam and Teddy also have their own Happy Ending but it’s REALISTIC, they don’t have a lot but are happy with what they have, and with knowledge that their future looks brighter because they have each other.

In another surprising twist, I think I liked the first book better? This one has a lot less angst in the relationship department which is usually what I prefer so I’m really surprised I didn’t love it. It was still a good read tho.
