Really sweet book written by President Obama encouraging his daughters and showing them (and all kids) what his hope for them and the future is.

This book flowed beautifully, hand in hand with the brilliantly drawn illustrations. Illustrations are an aspect of children's books that rarely make an appearance in young adult novels and many other kinds of novels and other genres.
Loren Long uses the left side of the page to illustrate the children, starting with Sasha and Malia, before adding the child version of the historical figure described on the right side of the page. Each child figure holds an item related to his or her accomplishments and throughout the book if you pay careful attention, these items sometimes shift between children. The children also move places and interact in beautiful friendship.
