           I had bought this book at a thrift store many years ago and it got lost in the jumble of my bookshelf, I came across it a couple days ago and decided to finally read it. I had never read any of Barbara Michaels work before. 
I got a chapter or so in and already looked up and purchased more of her books, this was written that good. 
There was no point in the book that felt daunting, no point in the book felt like I was reading "filler" or unnecessary information. I enjoyed every page of this book and the characters. There's a good shock at the end and the the last couple pages give you all the answers with a great ending but nothing to shocking that's out of left field which I hate some books do. 
I'm happy with this book, before I began reading I thought I'd be able to donate the book after and free up space on my shelf but nope, I can't get rid of this story I hope to go back to it one day.
