This book did not hook me like most romance reads do. I don't know why I didn't connect with this book, but something stopped me. I think it may have been the characters. The author was trying so hard to make them fit a type, you know the bad boy, the innocent girl, the fun best friend, the evil witch. All the characters felt overdone. I want more reality, some flaws, something broke them out of the stereotypical mould.
