           Barely Bewitched takes place just a week or so after the events in the first book. When Tammy Jo gets a knock at her door, it's a guy named Jordan who informs her that she has gotten into some trouble with the council of witches. She has to pass a test, and get licensed then she either practice magic or not. In the mean time she must practice with Jordan and another guy, and stay away from Bryn. Which is hard to do when he shows up a few minutes later to hire her to make pastries for a party. She also ends up needing his help to keep her ocelot Mercutio safe from a witch that claims that the cat is his. Also this other guy Incendio is definitely an angry guy who wants to cause trouble for Tammy. When she accidentally gets cursed she ends up acting a little crazy and spreading the crazy around the whole town. When she gets hurt badly trying to fix the town, Bryn saves her, but puts his life on the line in the process. Now Tammy Jo has to figure out how to save Bryn, and fix the town. 

I just love the banter, and interactions between Bryn and Tammy Jo. Zach seems like a decent enough guy, and he loves Tammy Jo they just don't belong together any more. 
I cant wait to read the next book in the series as it just keeps getting better
