The Verity Bargate Award New Plays 1986

Selected by a panel of judges which included Times drama critic Irving Wardle and Adrian Mole creator Sue Townsend, Releevo, by a previously unperformed author, was the outright winner of the third Verity Bargate Award, established specifically to encourage new writers. Also included in this volume are the two runners-up and a note on the award by playwright Barry Keeffe, who was married to Verity Bargate.
