He stared at the business card for a long time, before he tucked it into the photo frame on his desk, next to the silhouette she'd cut, the rendition of Sylvie's profile. 

Once more, briefly, Dominic's eyes met Sylvie's. "Inspiration."

"When I'm excited about anything, my first instinct is to tell Rosie. She's my best friend." 

She had finnished plaiting an entire section of blanket. He flipped the end around so she had more to do.
