Definitely better than the previous installment. I love all the rage she had against Patch. I guess the first one was a bit too sweet, and that made it a bit corny for me. I also liked how it all balanced out in the end. The part nearing the end was the best part in my opinion. It's more like a mesh of romance, thrill, and confusion spun to make one entrancing story. Thumbs up!

I know each book follows a popular romance trope but the trope in Crescendo just ain’t it. Hoping to enjoy Silence as much as Hush, Hush!

"𝙔𝙤𝙪'𝙧𝙚 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙚, 𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙡." I haven't re-read this book for ages, and now reading it again, I'm still the girl who falls in love with angels. Especially Patch. This book had a tiny love triangle, and even though I hate love triangles (because it's annoying) it fitted well with this book. Patch and Nora's relationship was always with some spark, but in Crescendo, they loose it a bit. Especially Nora, since she really did love Patch but, Patch couldn't say I love you to her since he got 'distracted' by some sound It was annoying watching Marcie being so rude to Nora and Vee. She's the character who spoils people's image say hurtful truths about them (ugh). A character I don't want to socialize with. And then we suddenly get Scott (or rather, 'Scotty the Hotty' who was nicknamed by Vee) a used-to-be close childhood friend of Nora. He's kind of a junk at the beginning, but he gets soft in the end so I can't say I hated him. Even if he made Patch jealous (it was funny watching Patch's expression). This book, has a cliff hanger which, annoyingly made me pick up the next book. I'm (again) in love.

3.5 stars . Acho que o começo das aulas influenciou um pouco a minha pontuação porque tinha pouco tempo para ler e houve vezes em que já não me lembrava do que se tinha passado. Mas ficam as 3,5 estrelas :)

★★★★☆ first of all: WHY DID YOU END IT LIKE THAT? THAT CLIFFHANGER? i need to read crooked kingdom before i start the third book but now i’m too invested in this series to wait. there were so many plot twists and i was confused but the author does a really good job at making things clear. when being introduced to a new idea, she explains it very well. this book is pretty fast-paced, but that might just be because it’s an ebook and i tend to read ebooks quickly. as much as i wanted patch and nora to be together in this book, i was very satisfied by their last moment because you can see that patch truly does care about nora, even if it wasn’t supposed to happen. also, fuck you rixon you dirty goat cheese flubnubber trash can stinker smelly bean burrito big boy hooligan fat bat penis fat headass. ugly. dumb. stupid.

This book was amazing! I didn't catch the bad guy until the end and it made the all the more thrilling. Also I'm sucker for drama so I got my fill of drama from this book. I really enjoy books that make me feel real feelings toward the characters and this was that kind of a book. I hated Marcie and also Patch... Sometimes. I really felt for Nora too even though sometimes she was the one who started the fights and it was always just Patch's fault. The plot of the book is just perfect. It's full of surprises and twists and drama and everything a perfect book should have. Now I'm on to the third book of the series and I can't wait to read it!

This is the second book off of the hush-hush saga and also the most aggravating one. I think because it’s been so long since I had read the series I forgot how frustrating the second one was because at first you get the happiness and joy and just everything feels good at the beginning and then everything goes so wrong. The relationship takes a turn for the worst and I felt like I was so confused the whole time on why was patch doing this why is he hurting Nora why is he acting like he has any say in her life and it felt truly like I was in their relationship and I was Nora. And even though you get so frustrated it’s so hard to put the book down because even though their moments are frustrating you can tell that there’s passion and love still between them. And then once the book ends and you’re on that final chapter everything clicks into place everything makes sense and you understand and all those horrible feelings you had are just gone they disappeared and then your left into utter shock! This is definitely my second favorite of the whole saga because of how many emotions it brought out in me !!!

I read the first book and thought it was just okay and unfortunately I feel the same for the second book. There's just too much drama between Patch and Nora which I found to be draggy and slightly uninteresting to read. Wish Becca Fitzpatrick could focus or balance out the romance and the mystery between fallen angels & the nephilims better. A lot of the interesting action was concentrated at the end of the book and the book ended with a bad cliffhanger. Not too impressed with the book though I'll probably still pick up the third book just to see how the story pens out.

Good follow up to Hush, Hush although I did find myself getting increasingly frustrated during parts of it. The good: -It keeps you on your toes, many twists and turns and lots of new information on different characters. The "just okay" -I grew pretty annoyed with Nora although I do understand that she is a teenage girl so I'm cutting her some slack. *Potential spoilers* I did not like how little we saw or heard from Patch in this book-nor does it build on their relationship much. I know that they were broken up but we still needed something because there really wasn't much in the first book either. They are supposed to love each other but they are barely ever together (first book too). I find that weird. All in all I enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone that enjoyed the first book.

This book might not be as good as the first one, but it is still a quick and entertaining read, and Patch and Nora have my entire heart.

I have very mixed feelings about this book. Well the series in general. On one hand I think this book is literal teen trash. If I had a dollar for every eye roll I made I’d be rich. Nora was just so goddamn annoying in this book. But on the other hand I enjoy the plot and the storyline of this book. Even though it’s cliche and not all that surprising but I do enjoy it. So beside from the characters being hella annoying I really am enjoying this series.

A toxic relationship, this statement is valid for the whole series. However, the angels' background story is really interesting.

En ocasiones no he podido soltarlo. Engancha.

So far so good...although I'm a little upset with Patch and Nora. Ok so I'm a little upset with the book right now. I was content with my feelings earlier in the book about Patch. Now I have to re-think them. I can't wait for the 3rd book to come out. *sighs* Damn the ending! And all the crazy twists and turns I like to think I know what's going on, but I honestly had no flippin' idea. Way to go Ms. Fitzpatrick.

At first I was scared to read this because it’s the second book in the series and the first one, “hush, hush”, was great but people said this one wasn’t too good. But contrary to that I found it great and really liked it. It had a lot more going on in it and went more in to the fantasy side and there was also a lot of parts that leave u hanging wondering more, so overall I liked this but I had to give it a 3.5/5 because certain parts made me mad and I wished I had more of Patch and Nora. The ending left on a super big cliffhanger!

Being with you never felt wrong. It's the one thing I did right. You're the one thing I did right. I don't care about the archangels. Tell me what you want me to do. Say the word. I'l do whatever you want. We can leave right now.
