The Secrets We Hide (The Four #2) by Becca Steele picks right up after The Lies We Tell #1. Love Caiden and Winter. Both are dealing with their own issues. But loved that this was not through out the whole book. All secondary characters are back and had so much fun with their different personalities. Did not see that twist coming. This cliffhanger better than book one and has me so nervous.

What I loved about this book is that we immediately saw the aftermath of the cliffhanger from book 1. We didn't have to wait until the middle of the book. It wasn't brushed off like nothing happened. 
We saw the hurt, the worry, the anxiety that comes with worrying...I loved it! I had all the feels while reading this book we delve deeper into the relationship between Caiden and Winter (and we more of the other 3 guys that make up the four, but more importantly: Zayde). Everything isn't unicorn sh*t and rainbows --or however that saying goes lol-- we see them struggle, we see them get to know each other better. 

I love that in this book, Winter has actual *girl* friends and not just the four because that's just not realistic. Every girl/woman needs at least one girl friend to be able to hang out with. While she still wants to find out what is happening, we also see her grow as a person and not just be laser-focused with no other plans.

Caiden is EVEN BETTER in this book and it was EVERYTHING. Steele did such a good job of letting us see him grow too. I honestly, was just a bottle of emotions waiting to explode with all the sweet moments, the heartbreaking moments, the hilarious moments, everything!!

I loved this book even more than the first one and I honestly can't wait for the third one. The third one is set to be the last one in this series, but I genuinely hope with all my heart that it isn't the last we see of these characters. Like I said in my review of the first book: If we don't get a book about Zayde, I WILL RIOT.

I absolutely loved this book. I’m a sucker for enemies to lovers troupe. Not a huge fan of the cliff hangers but it does make the book even more engaging and enticing. Can’t wait to read the last book!!!! 11/10 100% recommend this book

Becca Steele continues to blow me (hehe) away with this story! The plot gets thicker and the secrets get juicer in The Secrets We Hide. The revelations alone had me mind blown!

Not to mention, Caiden and Winters chemistry ignites in this beautiful inferno that I literally can’t take my eyes off of. Their chemistry is felt through the pages and let’s talk about character development for a moment? The trust that these two have built over the book is undeniable and it reminds of Dom and Letty from the Fast and Furious movies- They ride or die together. 

Becca, you gave me a new addiction to the Four-and I’m not ready to give it up. Now, hurry up with the next one will ya? I NEED ANSWERS!!!
