Brutal Blueblood
Reviews

Okay, I straight up devoured this book. I did not expect to love Owen so much! And Tanith?! Such a likable heroine. Brutal Blueblood is a fantastic NA romance that I can not rave about enough. You have a pompous, do-gooder half Brit and a head strong bookworm from New Jersey who collide in the best way. It’s sexy, funny and adorable all in one! Becker Gray is truly setting a new level with the Hellfire Club. I will forever find it hot AF when a super control freak hero looses his shit for the heroine. I’m talking full on nose dive into lust fueled love that knocks him on his ass and that’s exactly what happens with Owen. And it happens hard. Reading him become ravenous was everything. Don’t get me wrong he epically fucks up and in such a way that is natural to his age that I literally said “Oh, you dumb boy!” out loud while chuckling. Incredibly appropriate for the tone of the book and it’s refreshing to have that thrown into the life of luxury these characters lead. Oh and Owen can GROVEL too, he gets major brownie points for that. My girl Tanith! Sometimes you read a character and you instantly wanna be their friend. She’s tenacious, determined and gives Owen every drop of sarcasm and attitude his smug self deserves. She never belittles her worth. Not once. It’s fabulous to have such a strong willed heroine that also has an epic friendship circle. There’s a ton of great scenes with her girls and I adored how much they all support one another. Tanith knows what she wants in life and she’s not going to let anything stop her from achieving her goal, on her terms. These two didn’t have a ton of angst, they had the perfect amount. Everything about this storyline was so fitting. Sure, it was a bit predictable at parts but not boring. It just... made sense. OTT in the way young love should be. It’s so nice to read a book that’s simply a great story. No ridiculous shock factor but a few twists to keep you hooked. And whole a lotta dirty talk to set you on fire.
