i received this e-arc in exchange for an honest review.

this story was unique and enjoyable. remy saves jonah from the sea when she sees him from her workspace. after suffering a blow to the head, remy concludes that jonah has amnesia and cannot remember anything about his life before the accident. when jonah’s health deteriorates and requires medical attention, remy and jonah both go to the mainland to go to the hospital. at their arrival, jonah - now jeremiah - is reunited with family members, but cannot remember any of them.

the storyline of this novel was really interesting and was a lot more than a romance! however, i did find some parts to be quite random and didn’t integrate into the story quite so clearly. that aside, it was thoroughly enjoyable and i really liked the dynamics.
