Well, it wasn't at all what I expected. Quite frankly, I expected something much better. Based on the various reviews that I've read (which are mostly good), this book was supposed to be this eye-opener, makes-you-want-to-live-your-life-to-the-fullest kind of novel. But I didn't think of it that way.

There are some parts where it confused me. Like, who's talking? Where did s/he come from, why is s/he suddenly have a dialog? How did that happen? When did that take place? Yeah, it got me confused at times--or maybe I'm just a bad reader. Either way, the book still didn't make its supposed impact on me.

But what the hell. If you like stories that will depress you even more than you already are, then I suggest you grab a hold of this book and read every word of it by heart.

Even though I knew that Tessa was going to die, I still wasn't prepared for the ending. Over the course of the novel I grew attached to Tessa's witty comebacks, straight-forward attitude and realistic take on life. 

Before anyone starts reading this novel, I suggest that they wait until they're in the mood for something emotional or sad.
