As The Comedian was the darker character of the Watchmen, I was expecting something completely different, violent, with blood splattered all around the pages and some morbid incidents of his young life.
Instead of that, we have this tough guy that cared about JFK. I'd have liked to see how he came to kill Kennedy, (view spoiler)[as he did in the movie. (hide spoiler)] The opening credits in the movie were so wonderful that I think it would have been a good idea to keep those little facts in the prequel.
