How do you break up with a Vampire King? You don’t. Something is off about Valentine, and I don’t mean his missing heart. He's keeping me captive in a haunted house, complete with a ferocious beast to make sure I can never escape. There’s a hunger stirring in him. It’s deep and dark and preternatural. He’s awakening something in me I must resist because if I fail, everything is lost.
