Started off nicely and good snippets of info on Netherlands, its history and interesting bits. But then overall it got a bit too focused on Rotterdam and to some extent Amsterdam. I would have preferred a more complete coverage of the country. Nevertheless a good read for a non Dutch.

Even before I read the book, I found Netherlands a very evolved and unique society.
