I bought this book because of the film that was coming out and I must say I really enjoyed it. It's what I call an easy read. The chapters are short so you read about five chapters in one go, the way it's written also flows well. I thought the story was lovely and very sad, but I kind of guessed the big surprise about halfway through. Nevertheless, it was a charming story, one that I would read again in a heartbeat.
