I liked the book, but it wasn’t as memeroble as I would have liked. I liked the start of the story where everything still felt very secretive , but I din’t like her returning to her home town and how everyone welcomed het back (They could’ve been nicer). Also didn’t love the rushed ending, Felt like he didn’t grovel to much

This whole series was just… fuckin’ fantastic. I loved how each book progressed the story further. 10/10 highly recommended.

WOW this was the perfect ending to an incredible series. this book was much heavier than the first three, but once again, i thought emily handled these important topics really well. this story follows lily, who met in book 1. lily is chase’s sister and alina’s best friend, and she has been missing for 10 years. this book shows us where she’s been and what she’s been through during those 10 years. we also learn more about mason, who is the PI chase hired to find his sister. I loved lily’s story, despite a difficult upbringing and a lot of rough years, we get to see the incredible person and mother she becomes. i loved that all the characters from the previous 3 books were still included here, and i felt like the whole series came full circle. emily provided the perfect ending that brought a genuine smile to my face while reading. i cannot recommend this series enough. there are some triggering topics, especially in the 3rd and 4th books. while the author suggests going in blind, she provides a link to a list of content and trigger warnings at the beginning of the book.
