Oof. There's maybe 20% fact in this short book, the rest is woolly crap like this: "It is as if, in 1925, painting, the assassination of which Miro had not yet called for, skipped through his fingers and vanished into thin air. He saw it as something foreign to himself, the way a murderer sees his corpse. How did the crime happen? Some unexpected blast of energy derailed the machine; an inner hand knocked down the ladder to the sky. Stunned senseless by something that has no name, Miro did not try to reconstruct a record of what had happened. The 'dream paintings' were Miro's tabula rasa. 'I do not think, therefore I paint' was his cogito. And yet, he was thinking..." Good selection of images, though!
