Just The Way You Are is a book you would read in one sitting and would love it with its cute and adorable characters. It's an ideal uplifting book if you are into a slow-burn friends-to-lovers romance trope.

What I admire the most about this book was when Ollie being sheltered and closely guarded by her mother - manipulated the choices of her entire life because of the trauma her father has caused them. Hence, she made the list for herself, and that made me like her for finally stepping up for herself in making her dreams to fruition. 

The way she has stepped up despite the fear hits different. The way she does everything on her list independently but with a little or minor help from Sam is also endearing. Likewise, I have this favorite line from Ollie, "𝘐 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘢 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘴, 𝘐 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘸𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐 𝘮𝘢𝘺 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘭 𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘺, 𝘢𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘥. Still, what I least like from the book was there were some parts a bit draggy that I skimmed read it. But, it does not mean that the writing was bad because it is not. I certainly enjoy the writing and the plot of the book regardless of whether they have been draggy. 

Overall, this is ideal for an uplifting romance. The slow-burn romance of the characters will make you go swooning and rooting for them.
