okay, so, prediction time:
the book is called SHADES of Earth, right?
and we know there are supposed to MONSTERS on the planet, yes?
Maybe I"m just a nerd, but is anyone else thinking of Stargate Atlantis?
I know that the things on SG Atlantis are called Wraiths not Shades, but hey, both words are used in ghost books and describe denominations of ghosts, so say the Shade-Monsters in SHADES OF EARTH are like the Wraiths, but different.

I went into this series knowing NOTHING except it was about a girl who gets frozen and put on a space ship to go to a new world.

GAAAAAH.
It is so much more than that.
This last book BLEW me out of the water. Tons of twists and turns and loops that while I certainly may have suspected some, they were still spectacular!

Omg.. This book!! I wish i could give it 5 more stars!! 

I thought the other two books in the triology was good but this was fantastic!! 

The plot twist was amazing.. I cried like a baby the last 4 pages and over all the serie was really good. One of My favourites 2015!

I was disappointed with the way this book ended. I have lived this series and found it to be a guilty pleasure. It's easy to read and just a fun book series overall. This book felt much more rushed than the others. While the other books felt like they explored the plot thoroughly, it felt like this one was rushed to the ending.The very ending was predictable and while I liked the Amy/Elder relationship in the other books, it was much more frustrating to read in this book. It felt like all the character development that had happened in the previous books was tossed aside in Shades of Earth. Both Amy and Elder acted childish, unlike how they were presented as stronger characters in both Across the Universe and A Million Suns. While I enjoyed this series overall, I do not like how it ended.

Incredible end to the series. I don't think a book has ever made me so emotional over blank pages. (When you read it you'll understand what I mean). If you thought you had their whole world figured out from the other two books, you are very wrong. Many secrets are revealed in this last book and it gets crazy. Beth Revis makes you become so incredibly connected with these characters which makes it such a great story.

Numa verdadeira reviravolta e demonstração de coragem e devoção sinceras, este fim vai quebrar corações, deixar cérebros derretidos e uma vontade enorme de devorar cada página como se fosse a última.
Amy e Elder crescem ainda mais neste livro e mostram porque são dois protagonistas que se colocam a parte de outros do género. Do início ao fim, eles defendem as suas convicções, aprendem, sofrem e lutam enquanto crescem e deixam os seus sentimentos amadurecerem. Ambos vão surpreender até ao último momento. Quanto às restantes personagens, estão bem construídas, são verosímeis também nos dão muitos momentos de intensidade.
Beth acaba a sua primeira trilogia em beleza, deixando fãs satisfeitos e, sem dúvida, desejosos de ver o seu próximo trabalho. Shades of Earth é um fim espectacular que demonstra bem o talento da sua criadora. Agora é esperar que alguma editora portuguesa se decida a trazer esta trilogia fantástica para a nossa língua.

Really loved this series. I forget how good sci-fi can be. This last book was really good, but I wasn't too thrilled with the ending.
