4 Stars I really enjoyed this something about L.H Cosway's writing that usually pulls me in, and this something a bit different from her usual style but I really liked the different atmosphere and gothic tones this book had. Definitely one with the right amount of mystery, eerieness, romance, and heartbreaking moments. Just enough of a haunted feeling always lingering in the background, and a location perfect for a gothic romance. There so many great twists and turns you never truly know what direction it could be heading and I actually liked both the mystery and uneasiness it could leave you with. Estella was a great main character and everything is told from her pov which I liked. She is both strong and vulnerable and I found it easy to feel for her and root for her. Noah was truly that mysterious and dangerous bad boy type who you just wanted to keep learning more about. I definitely was constantly intrigued and knew there was so much more under the surface. I love that you can get a sense nothing and no one is exactly how they seem but how everything slowly comes together in the end.
