Raising Susan A Man, a Woman, and a Golden Eagle

In the '50s and '60s, Susan, a golden eagle with a ferocious temper and a tender heart, lived in captivity with Cecil and Adele Hyndman at Featherland, their bird and animal sanctuary. Over the years, the Hyndmans and Susan participated in a bizarre triangle that saw a man and a woman become closer to a bird of prey than to each other. Cecil possessed an undying love for the magnificent bird even after he became her worst enemy and his wife took his place as Susan's favorite in their "golden affair."
