A fascinating glimpse into the life of the Church's most effective (at least in sheer numbers) evangelist of all time. Also a unique survey of the world of the 20th century, as Graham mentions a plethora of politicians, entertainers and celebrities from all over the world. Although it drags here and there, it was a thoroughly edifying book, written by a man who by all accounts was "the real deal". I read the 1oth anniversary updated 2007 edition which included some mature reflections on aging and living in a post 9/11, globalized world.
