Bird Box is suspenseful, creepy, and sometimes downright terrifying. At times, the layering of panic seemed unrealistic and too coincidental, but the real world can be like that, too. Read it if you want some anxiety and a dramatic end-of-the-world tale to scare the pee out of you.

The ending was pretty anticlimactic and we didn't get any answers.. still a very spooky read and a pageturner.

Yeah, I wasn't the biggest fan of this... I know that's an unpopular opinion but oh well. This is a great concept and indeed really creepy but also boring. There's a lot of descriptions and life stories and just not that interesting. I think this book would have been great if it was just the story from when this thing just hapened and not the lake part. Does that sentence even make sense?
