A piece of cake, or a recipe for disaster. Moonlight Chen loves her job—sort of. She doesn’t love her boss taking advantage of her, or that customer who won’t stop flirting. But she does love cake, and also kinda-sorta likes her coworker, Shane, even though he’s kinda-sorta-definitely rude. But that’s fine; it’s nothing a little sweetness can’t fix. Baking is Shane Zhao’s dream career, but since cutting ties with his dad and moving to Perth, his job at Lovely Time Bakery has kept him front-of-house.
