Bitter Sixteen

Cynical, solitary Stanly Bird is a fairly typical teenager - unless you count the fact that his best friend is a talking beagle and he gained the powers of flight and telekinesis when he turned sixteen. However, when he receives a cryptic phone call frm his cousin, he learns that he is not the only one in the family with unusual abilities. Having inadvertently revealed his powers, he is forced to set out for London where the true nature of his gifts is unveiled.
