When the Dead Come Home

I’m not sure how I feel about this book. Or really the series in general, if I’m being honest. This book came out in February and I had it because I preordered it way back when, but I literally didn’t start reading until a couple of days ago. I used to be so excited when a new book came out in this series, but now not so much. Not sure if that’s just something to do with me or with the books. 

I’m not sure if it’s just been a long time since I was with these characters, or if some of them have drastically changed? Miles was pissing me off, Zeke just seemed different, and just the pace of the book was weird. I know we were going to start getting more mature scenes, but the flow seemed weird, but again that could just be because it’s been along time since I’ve spent time with these characters. 

Anyway I’m going to stop because this seems to just be my immediate reactions to finishing the book. Can’t say I look forward to this series like I used, but I will still read the future books. I have hope.
