I read the Eve trilogy and really liked Anna Carey's writing style. So when I came across this book on a sales rack, I did not hesitate and I bought it, pretty blind of its story. The only thing I did try to check was whether or not I was getting myself into another series. Which from my little research I did, only looking to the end of the book, I thought I wasn't. Now that is not right, but to me that is the only bummer and that is only due to my own stupidity. Now about the book: I think I'm not really spoiling(or is it spoilering) the book by saying that it is written in a second-person perspective which I've never read before but it works it works super well. The book is easy and fast to read(I read it for the Booktube-A-Thons Challenge of reading a book without letting go). I am definitely excited for the second book due to this books ending.
