2.5- Dull characters with an over the top plot. Jane Norton is about as interesting as Bella Swan but she's cooler. Abbott wants you to know that. He makes sure you get that she's got an edge at every point possible. But other than that, she's your average Mary Sue and it doesn't help that she has amnesia. It's arrested development (that's the name of the show!) and we have to suffer through it. Yet somehow she's wanted by all in every sense of the word. It's hard to believe and the ending makes it even more rididculous.

I am completely blown away by this. I honestly don’t think I can review this book because all I can say is: PLEASE READ IT. One of my favorite genres, be it in books, tv shows or movies is crime - I pride myself in being a bit of a detective and figuring out who did it before the end. Well, Jeff Abbott proves me wrong every time, and I’ve given up crafting theories about “the bad guy”. PLEASE READ THIS BOOK. Have I said it already?
