It provides a forum for scholarly discussion on biblical issues, both Old and New Testament, and enables busy ministers to keep abreast of scholarship in the biblical field. A focal place in each number is given to Sermons for the Christian Year, each one composed by a skilled and experienced practitioner of the art of preaching. In addition, the Journal offers reviews, and a Book of the Month.
