Blue Skies was such an adorable book! I loved Patrice from the very first chapter, and couldn’t wait to know more about her. Her first encounter with Seth has become one of my favorite meet-cute moments in books. :’) IT WAS SO SWEET! I didn’t think it was possible to swoon over a couple from a book with 100-ish pages, but Seth and Patrice completely won my heart. 

Short romance novels are all about the fluff and cheesy-stuff (most of the time). Blue Skies was really different from that point of view. It was sweet, but with the perfect amount of realism. There were important life lessons and relatable moments throughout the story, which I really loved! I appreciated how the author didn’t sugar-coat any of the incidents in the book.

ALSO THE TWIST OMG. It was so unexpected! It added elements of suspense and drama in the book, which made reading it so much better!

The only think I didn’t like was how Chris was treated in the book. I know what happened was necessary, was he was so nice. :’)))

I hope Alana Oxford is writing a sequel, because I want to know how everything turns out in Seth and Patrice’s life so bad. Why was the book so short?
