Blush for Me A Fusion Novel

This review was originally posted on Addicted To Romance Blush For Me is the third book in the Fusion series and I have been having a fun time with this series. I have become hooked on Kristen Proby's writing style and I just get such a fun kick out of her books here. This latest series is pretty wonderful and I love these group of women and their friendship that we see here. I knew I wanted to listen to this book and I was shocked, delightfully so, to see that this series is available on audio at my local library, so I saved myself a credit which I won't complain about that. Blush For Me is a story that we see that is your typical fling trope with some tart and sweet thrown into the mix. Our story begins with our heroine, Katrina Meyers, who is one of the five women who have started their restaurant together. Kat is in charge of the bar and the specialty in wine. So she takes a trip to a wine conference, but she has a great fear of flying. But her neighbor on the plane, a mysterious but sexy man, helps her through her fear and she is shocked when she sees that he is at the same wine conference as she is. Sparks fly between these two, and they come to an agreement....to a sexacation. A fling of sorts,  with no strings attached. Neither of them ever could think that they would meet again. But even though the sex is off the charts, there is something more between Kat and Mac. When Kat returns home though she is shocked to see her "Mac" in her restaurant. And at first, she doesn't know how to react to his presence at first. But both Mac and Kat know that there is a lot more between them than just a casual fling, and they mutually decide to see is between them and explore it. I will admit that I simply had a fun time with this book, I wouldn't say it's my favorite of the series so far, but a delightful romance that is written here. I am not always on board with the fling trope, but it seemed to really work for the set up of the story. I do think that these two make a great pairing though. Kat can be a bit too stubborn for her own good and a bit "bitchy" at times. I mean she really can be mean at times, although she doesn't mean too but she takes no crap from anyone and can go too far at times. But this is where our fabulous hero comes in. He knows how to handle Kat and her feisty attitude especially in her manner towards him and lets her realize when she crosses the line. And the SEX is off the charts in this book. WHOOEE!! These two have sparks of SPARKS that is for sure. Mac is very alpha in this book, he likes his own way at times but boy he is the one that dominates the sexy times and its HOT!! I just loved how he is with Kat though and they really know how to get it on. I do think that Kat knows how to handle Mac outside the bedroom so beautifully. She doesn't let him go too far with his alpha ways. But we also see a great friendship that builds between these two as well a great admiration for each other and their passions in their careers and lives. There is also a bit of a side plot dealing with some drama with Mac's family that I really took a heart to. I really enjoyed seeing this plotline develop and Proby did a great job in not having it detract from the romance and I really loved the bit of suspense that we get in the end of the book, it totally worked for me and seemed to flow evenly through the story. The narrators for this book are two of my favorites and they are SUPERB to listen to together and they really brought out Mac and Kat's personalities so endearingly. I found Blush For Me to be a story of sensuality, personal growth and a engaging love story that will give you happy feels. OUTSTANDING!!

Who else doesn´t love reading Kristen Proby books? ´Cause I do and she release another book in the Fusion series. Blush for Me is the third book in the Fusion series. Reader definitely get to reunited with familiar character in the Fusion series. And they finally get to read Katrina Meyers falling in love too. Katrina Meyers is a very beautiful yet talented bartender in the Seduction. She loves her life to the fullest but she is definitely holding herself back. One of the things that she is holding back is getting over fear which makes her fly on a plane that she is very afraid of. But do not worry, she gets the best help ever from the sexy yet attentive Ryan ¨Mac¨ MacKenzie. Ryan ¨Mac¨ MacKenize is normal gruff man that he runs the best wine tour around the states. But he id definitely off guard when meeting the sexy yet scared Katrina Meyers. He has no problem in helping Katrina because he knows a thing or two when facing your fears. Katrina and Ryan definitely meet again since Ryan is determine to have her again. Ryan is very determine about Katrina because she is different from everyone that he cannot lose it whatsoever. There may be some resisted between them but it always take time to build a relationship. While they are figuring out their relationship, they will also face some personal challenges from family. It will be little drama but it does need to be address. Finding closure from their family will resolve them in finding what they want in their life. Katrina and Ryan are definitely a match for each other since they care very deeply about each other needs. Like when Ryan gives Katrina a roof so she can enjoy reading her kindle. So cute! Blush for Me is the right title for Katrina and Ryan because they make each other blush since they do and give what each other needs. Four Stars.

After loving Listen to Me and Close to You, the first two books in Kristen Proby's Fusion series, I was really looking forward to reading Blush for Me when it was released. Unfortunately, it fell victim to my constant "too many books, too little time" struggle and sat unread for months. I'm glad I made the time to read it before the fourth book was released, however. It was a wonderful book and, quite frankly, I rather enjoyed the mini Kristen Proby binge.  Though it'd been awhile since I read one of the Fusion books, it didn't take any time at all for me to fall right back into the groove of loving these characters. I love a good, strong female character and the Fusion series is overflowing with them. It's a real treat. With each new book, I'm always thrilled to get the story of a character I've already fallen in love with and Kat was no exception. Her sexcation with Mac — and everything that ensued as a result — made for a great, enjoyable read.  Blush for Me pulled me into the story from the very start. I can relate to Kat's fear/hatred of flying and I found myself wishing that I was seated next to a man like Mac sometime on a flight. Maybe that'd lead me to an amazing sexcation too. Haha. I guess what I'm really saying here is that the characters and story were relatable. Things also got hot REALLY early on, which seems a bit different for Kristen's books, but it totally worked here. Sexcation, y'all. Kat and Mac didn't have weeks or months with which to develop a thing. They clearly clicked from the start, and they had crazy intense chemistry. Which, naturally, made for smoking hot sexy times.  I enjoyed this book so very much. Kat and Mac's story was wonderful and really low on the angst scale. There wasn't a huge conflict in the book and I was more than ok with that. Sometimes it's nice to just read about a couple and how they're fitting into each other's lives and not have ALLLLLL the drama. (Even though I do like the drama, too.) I'm here for the romance and Kristen delivered. I also loved getting to see more from some of my favorite characters in this series. I can tell you this much — I won't be waiting to dive into the next book when I get my hands on it.  FAVORITE QUOTES "Just kiss me while you fuck me, and I won't be able to scream."
