An Inconvenient Corpse

Jane Pemberton always knew she had not been invited to accompany her uncle's family to the seaside merely to enjoy herself. It was her duty to act as a companion for her invalid cousin Celia and a respectable chaperone for Celia's elder, headstrong sister Arabella. Perhaps it was even hoped Jane would exert a gentling influence on the two sisters' reckless brother Felton. But guarding the family's reputation - and their lives - is a far more difficult task, one Jane must take up, yet again, when death and danger visit their seaside estate.
